7.A. - Page 58 of 101 <br />AP -50 Geographic Distribution — 91.220(f) <br />Description of the geographic areas of the entitlement (including areas of low-income and <br />minority concentration) where assistance will be directed <br />The City does not have a specific target area and will use the federal funds city wide. The City will <br />provide programs and services identified in this Action Plan to households with the greatest need. <br />Therefore, most activities will serve eligible low-income households on a city-wide basis and the <br />applicants will apply for assistance on a program -by -program basis. Physical activities, including housing <br />and neighborhood improvements, will be provided within the Census Block Group Areas with the <br />greatest concentrations of low-income households. <br />Typically, the City utilizes its CDBG and HOME funds within the boundaries of the City. In making <br />funding decisions, the City will give priority to activities that: <br />• Meet goals of the 2018-2022 Consolidated Plan <br />• Demonstrate a significance of need <br />• Serve eligible areas within Redwood City <br />• Are eligible projects or programs under HUD rules <br />• Create visual impacts in the neighborhoods, particularly if an infrastructure project <br />Discussion <br />The City will provide programs and services identified in this Plan to households with the greatest <br />need.
