These funds will be used to support a training program designed to equip low-income, un- and underemployed <br />residents of Redwood City with the training, tools and resources they need to start, grow or retain their own small <br />businesses, creating jobs for themselves and others. $50,000 — CDBG <br />TOTAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUNDING RECOMMENDATION - $50,000 <br />PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION <br />Planning and Program Administration: City of Redwood City, 1017 Middlefield Road. These funds are used for CDBG <br />and HOME entitlement grant administration and planning activities including general management, oversight and <br />coordination; providing citizens with information about the CDBG and HOME programs; preparing budgets and <br />schedules; preparing HUD required reports and documents; preparing community development plans (including the <br />Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plans); preparation and oversight of Environmental Reviews, and compliance <br />with other HUD requirements. $146,884 — CDBG, $32,986— HOME <br />TOTAL PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION FUNDING RECOMMENDATION - $179,870 <br />507 <br />
