04/26/2021 <br />2. Committing the Sponsor to the completion of the Project, including the <br />commitment of matching funds in the amount of $98,000 needed for implementation, and <br />3. Certifying that any funds awarded by MTC will be used to supplement <br />existing funds for program activities, and will not replace existing funds or resources, and <br />4. Authorizing the City Manager of the Sponsor, or his/her designee, to sign a <br />funding agreement with the MTC, if funds are awarded, for MTC's Safe and Seamless <br />Mobility Quick strike program funding for the Project and to take any other actions <br />necessary to give effect to this resolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: <br />1. Directs staff to submit an application for MTC's Safe and Seamless Mobility <br />Quick Strike Program funds in the amount of $755,000 for the Project. <br />2. Authorizes the City Manager, or her designee, to execute funding <br />agreements with MTC to encumber any funds awarded. <br />3. Commits to the completion of the Project, including the commitment of <br />$98,000 of matching funds needed for implementation, if awarded the requested funds. <br />4. Certifies that any funds awarded by MTC will be used to supplement <br />existing funds for program activities, and will not replace existing funds or resources. <br />5.
