REV: 04-22-2021 PR <br />“ ”EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Project Understanding <br />Consultant will support City’s transportation program as a management and technical resource. <br />Consultant will support City staff priorities and production requirements by developing requests <br />for qualifications and proposals for transportation services, conducting traffic and transportation <br />planning and engineering analyses, reviewing transportation elements of development projects <br />and supporting planning and development of transportation improvement projects. <br />Scope of Work <br />Consultant’s scope of work will depend on the project or task assigned and may include, but will <br />not be limited to, the following typical services supportive of the Project Understanding. <br />• Prepare for and attend meetings with City, City’s internal and external team members, and <br />stakeholders <br />• Review data and reports <br />• Conduct field observations <br />• Evaluate traffic and parking implications and impacts of potential development projects <br />• Provide technical and management support of transportation improvement projects <br />• Prepare written memoranda and reports to document findings and conclusions <br />• Prepare summary materials for presentation to City, City’s internal and external team members, <br />and stakeholders <br />• Prepare draft requests for qualifications and proposals to support procurement of consultant <br />services <br />• Other tasks as requested by City and City’s internal and external team members. <br />Schedule <br />Consultant will provide its services as expeditiously as practicable to accomplish the Scope of <br />Work. Consultant will develop task-specific schedules to meet City objectives. <br />Fee and Billing <br />The maximum not to exceed fee for the scope of work is $25,000, which includes approximately <br />160 labor hours and an allowance of $1,000 for other direct costs for expenses directly related to <br />the work. Billing shall be monthly based on actual time and expenses incurred, and invoices will <br />include brief annotations to describe work efforts. Labor will be billed at $150.00 per hour and <br />expenses will be billed at cost. <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.072/Paul Krupka (Page 11 of 11)
