M:Jh . <br />Department: Itfi'v~ Sdwl E" v,J,rJ'et:f"" sJ1-F2 <br />Date(s): -4, /0'1 - 6/30)10 <br />Dollar Amt: , {8 I 0iXJ. <br /> <br />Description of Service: Justification <br /> <br />Responsibilities of the Seauoia Teen Resource Center (STRCl. a oartn'ership of Redwood <br />City 2020 and Youth and Family Enrichment Services. <br /> <br />STRC is committed to the successful functioning of the Collaborative 21st CCLC program <br />and to the realization of the outcomes it seeks. Sequoia Teen Resource Center's specific <br />commitments include the following: <br /> <br />· STRC will actively participate in collaborative (SAFE) activities and will have <br />representation at all collaborative program meetings, including the executive <br />committee. <br /> <br />· STRC will supervise all of its staff and consultant positions in the program <br />guaranteeing close coordination with all staff and activities. <br /> <br />· STRC will participate in program evaluation processes as required by the California <br />Department of Education and collaborative by maintaining records on activities and <br />services and engaging in data collection as required. <br /> <br />· STRC will supervise the Young Men Moving towards Health, Girls Embracing Life, <br />Peaceful Intervention and Youth Advisory Board activities. STRC will also provide <br />counseling, group sessions, health education, program coordination, referral and <br />outreach, and make connections to City and County services and leadership in the <br />after school program as needed. <br />
