5. Funding <br />a) With the exception of the North Fair Oaks Community Council, which will <br />not make a financial contribution, and Stanford University, which shall contribute Twelve <br />Thousand and Five Hundred Dollars ($12,500), each of the collaborative partners shall <br />contribute Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 to support <br />the work of Redwood City Together. On behalf of the County of San Mateo, San Mateo <br />County Health and the San Mateo Human Services Agency will each contribute Twelve <br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($12,500) for Fiscal Year 2020-2021. The collaborative <br />partners' financial contributions shall be increased annually as described in Subsection <br />5(b), below. <br />b) Financial contribution amounts for all financially contributing collaborative <br />partners will increase by 5% in fiscal year 2021-2022 and thereafter increase annually, <br />beginning July 1, 2022, in accordance with the increase in the February Consumer Price <br />Index (CPI -Urban) for the San Francisco -Oakland -Hayward region. On behalf of the <br />County of San Mateo, San Mateo County Health and the San Mateo Human Services <br />Agency will each contribute one half of the applicable annually increased amount for <br />financially contributing collaborative partners (for example, in Fiscal Year 2021-2022, San <br />Mateo County Health and the San Mateo Human Services Agency will each contribute <br />Thirteen Thousand One Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($13,125).) <br />C) The at -large members described in Subsection 3(a), above, shall not make <br />financial contributions. <br />d) Kaiser acknowledges that they will make a Twenty Five Thousand Dollar <br />($25,000) contribution for fiscal year 2020-2021 and a Twenty Six Thousand Two Hundred <br />Fifty Dollar ($26,250) contribution for fiscal year 2021-2022. Redwood City Together will <br />invoice Kaiser Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) for fiscal year 2020-2021 upon <br />execution of this agreement for fiscal year 2020-2021 and Twenty Six Thousand Two <br />Hundred Fifty Dollars ($26,250) on September 30, 2021 for fiscal year 2021-2022. <br />i. As Fiscal Agent, the City is authorized to receive money on behalf <br />of Redwood City Together. The money received on behalf of Redwood City <br />Together shall be disbursed, as requested, by the Redwood City Together <br />Executive Director in writing, subject to City administrative procedures. <br />ii. At no time shall the City be under any obligation to disburse money <br />to Redwood City Together in excess of the amount on deposit. The collaborative <br />partners acknowledge that money received by the City will not be available for <br />disbursement for three (3) business days after the funds have been deposited by <br />City, or for a longer period, as deemed appropriate by City's Finance Director. <br />6. Acts and Omissions of Executive Director. The acts and omissions of the <br />Executive Director, or any other employees, agents, or volunteers acting on behalf of Redwood <br />City Together shall not in any way be construed as the acts and omissions of the City, but shall <br />be deemed as the acts and omissions of the collaborative partners acting jointly. <br />7. Notices.
