Routine Maintenance Activities <br />The principal maintenance objectives are to ensure that water flows unimpeded into the <br />planters and landscaping remains attractive in appearance. Table 1 shows the routine <br />maintenance activities for the flow-through planter and bioretetion areas. <br />Flow-through planters are <br />designed to treat and <br />temporarily detain runoff without <br />allowing seepage into the <br />underlying soil.
