REV: 06-25-21 RL EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES 1. BACKGROUND: Consultant lead 6 Socially Distanced Bike Rodeos at a Redwood City Health Fair Redwood City Health Fair on Sunday, June 27th 2021. 2. SCOPE On June 27th, Consultant will help administer 6 socially distances bike rodeos from 10am-2pm. Organize & train staff as needed. Consultant will provide 6 Socially Distanced Bike Rodeos (SDBR) that will be 15 minutes each, followed by a 15-minute break between each SDBR. To facilitate the SDBRs Redwood City Together will hand out helmets, with the assistance of Cosultant staff where possible. Consultant will lead & prepare a joint participant safety & risks disclaimer to be completed by all participants’ parents and/or guardians 24-48 hours before event. Interactive & Didactic Teaching: Socially Distanced Bicycle and Pedestrian Rodeos (outdoor activity): On grass, students will have the opportunity to practice safe pedestrian and bicycling behaviors learned during the in-class SRTS lessons. 3-5 Grade: Several skills courses will cover important bicycling skills such as handing out either Getting From Here to There Safely (a Safe Kids brochure) or Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety (Traffic Safe Communities Network (TSCN) brochure, hand signals, driveways, intersection & stop, lane positioning and looking over the shoulder. Loaner bicycles will be provided upon request, but not preferred during COVID19. SVBC has 10 loaner bikes available per SDBR (45-minute activity) Format Ideas: intersections/stop signs, hand signals, driveway/look back. To facilitate the SDBRs. Consultant and Redwood City Together will collaborate on communication materials. 3.
