REV: 07-02-21 RL <br />Drop Box Use Agreement (Outside Drop Box - Temporary) <br />Facility name, address and/or availability, as written below, will be published in the Voter Information <br />Guide and all outreach materials for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election. <br />FACILITY INFORMATION <br />Facility Name City of Redwood City – Community Activities Building (CAB) <br />Address 1400 Roosevelt Avenue Redwood City, CA 94061 <br />Availability 24/7 during the voting period <br />PRIMARY CONTACT <br />Name Chris Beth, Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director <br />Email cbeth@redwoodcity.org <br />Phone (650) 333-8803 <br />EMERGENCY CONTACT <br />Name Lucas Wilder, Assistant Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director <br />Email lwilder@redwoodcity.org <br />Phone (650) 444-7097 <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />The facility described above (“Facility”); the City of Redwood City (“City”); and the San Mateo County <br />Registration & Elections Division (“Division”) agree to the following terms and conditions relating to <br />this Drop Box Use Agreement (“Agreement”). <br />The City agrees to host a Drop Box at the Facility The Drop Box shall remain at the Facility beginning <br />29 days prior to Election Day and up until 8 p.m. on Election Day (“Voting Period”), and during the <br />Voting Period shall be open to the public for the hours as set forth under Availability (i.e., 24/7). The <br />Facility name and address, and the availability of the Drop Box at the Facility, will be included in the <br />Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet that will be shared with the public; will be published on <br />the San Mateo County website (“www.smcacre.org”); and will be posted on the California Secretary of <br />State’s website. The Drop Box at the Facility shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. <br />To ensure the security of the Drop Box, the City and Division shall agree upon a level and concrete <br />surface into which the Drop Box will be bolted. If such placement is not possible, the City will <br />coordinate a concrete pad of the appropriate dimensions.
