REV: 07-12-2021 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant will support Redwood City Together fundraising, including grant prospecting, <br />proposal development and process management with the goal to secure at least One Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($100,000) in new unrestricted funding and an additional One Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($100,000) in unrestricted or restricted funding by December 31, 2021. <br />Consultant will perform the following tasks: <br />New Discretionary Funding: Working independently, consultant will prospect for potential <br />new discretionary funders (private foundations, corporate foundations & family <br />foundations) whose mission, funding priorities and history of giving are aligned with <br />Redwood City Together’s work. Prepare and/or edit Letter of Intent LOIs, proposals, and <br />reports for foundations: Keep a calendar of application deadlines and prepare and/or edit <br />LOIs, proposals, and reports throughout the year. Communicate with leadership and <br />staff to prepare proposals and reports. <br />Pandemic Relief: In partnership with the City Manager of the City of Redwood City and <br />the Executive Director of Redwood City Together, support exploration of sources of <br />federal funding for pandemic relief that align with Redwood City Together’s mission and <br />purpose <br />Support other fundraising initiatives as needed, including but not limited to letter writing <br />campaigns, fundraising events, and corporate sponsorships. <br />New Discretionary Funding target outcomes: <br />Top 10 foundation prospects identified for possible funding by end of May 2021 <br />At least 3 proposals/LOIs submitted by end of July 2021; at least 3 additional <br />proposals/LOIs submitted by end of September 2021 <br />At least 1 proposal funded by end of September 2021; at least 2 proposals funded by <br />end of November 2021 <br />Pandemic Relief expected outcomes: <br />Sources of funds evaluated and final determination will be made to develop a <br />proposal/proposals by end of May 2021 <br /> Fee: <br />Consultant will be paid $125/hour.
