Statistical analysis as applied to crime patterns, including probability assessments <br />and trend analysis. <br />Microsoft Office products, computer operations, geographical information systems, <br />and other relevant technologies. <br />Ability to: <br />Communicate effectively orally and in writing. <br />Perform video evidence retrieval and sorting. <br />Demonstrate an understanding and compliance of departmental policies and laws <br />governing body worn cameras and evidence submission. <br />Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the <br />course of work. <br />Operate and care for equipment to manufacturer's specifications and/or within the <br />specified parameters. <br />Research, review, and analyze video evidence from body worn cameras. <br />Prepare accurate written reports; maintain accurate and legible logs and records. <br />Maintain confidentiality of data and information developed from a number of <br />diverse source including criminal databases. <br />Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. <br />Operate modern office equipment including computers and specialized software <br />applications. <br />Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the <br />required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
