RESOLUTION NO. 15967 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY MAKING A PORTION OF HOPKINS AVENUE <br />A ONE-WAY STREET <br />WHEREAS, in early 2017, the City initiated a formal traffic calming <br />process for Hopkins Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the design was presented to the Transportation Advisory <br />Committee on May 12, 2021, and to the City Council on June 28, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff is now proposing to implement the Hopkins Traffic <br />Safety Project permanently, which includes making a portion of Hopkins Avenue <br />a one-way street. The portion of Hopkins that will be a one-way street is shown <br />in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated by reference; and <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Code Section 20.46 provides for the <br />designation of one-way streets by resolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Approval of Proiect. The City Council approves making a portion <br />of Hopkins Avenue a one-way street as shown on Exhibit "A" as described in <br />the staff report. <br />2. Effective Date.
