REV: 07-28-2021 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Services: <br />Contractor will perform trucking and hauling services on an as-needed basis for the City, <br />which consist of the following: <br />Normal Work <br />•Furnish materials, trucks, and drivers to pick up or deliver directed materials to <br />specified locations. Examples of specified locations would be the Public Works <br />Municipal Service Center (MSC), an active job site, or proper disposal site. <br />•All materials supplied to the City shall comply with the City of Redwood City <br />Engineering Standards (http://www.redwoodcity.org/departments/community- <br />development-department/engineering-transportation/engineering/engineering- <br />standards). If City Engineering Standards are not available, materials shall comply <br />with applicable State of California standards, such as Caltrans Construction <br />Contract Standards, or other standard as requested by the City. <br />•Deliver or pick up materials in a timely manner. Materials shall be delivered in <br />usable condition. The material picked up shall be the type and amount of material <br />designated by the City for the particular job in process. <br />•On each trip to the MSC, call the designated City staff member to confirm arrival <br />and departure times. <br />•Delivery tags for all materials picked up and / or delivered, as well as record tags <br />or time sheets for the work performed, shall be provided to the City on the day the <br />delivery or pick up was performed. <br />•Vehicles entering the MSC property shall follow all posted speed limits, directions <br />of travel, correct entrance and exit use, and parking and loading zones. <br />•Dispose of all materials in accordance with all State, Federal, and Local laws. <br />•Vehicles that are scheduled by 11am the day prior to services being rendered will <br />be considered normal work. <br />Emergency Response <br />•Provide emergency response 24 hours a day, 7 days per week (including <br />holidays), on a “24/7” basis. <br />•Maintain a single, local telephone contact number where an on-call representative <br />can be reached at all times (24/7).
