RESOLUTION NO. 15979 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AUTHORIZING APPROVAL FOR EXTENSION OF SEWER <br />SERVICE TO 475 UPLAND ROAD (APN 058-243-170), OUTSIDE <br />JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT <br />CODE SECTION 56133 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has provided sewer service to the <br />existing residence located at 475 Upland Road, in unincorporated San Mateo County, <br />California, APN 058-243-170 (the "Property"), which is outside the City's jurisdictional <br />boundaries, but inside the City's sphere of influence and sewer service area; and <br />WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the City provide sewer service <br />to the property at 475 Upland Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the City owns a sewer main along Stanley Street and currently <br />serving the existing residence located at 475 Upland Road; and <br />WHEREAS, as the Property is not proposed to be annexed to the City, the City <br />will be providing service through the Local Agency Formation Commission's (LAFCO) <br />outside service agreement (the "Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement for this Property is exempt from LAFCO review and <br />approval under Government Code Section 56133(e)(4) as the City has been serving this <br />Property for sanitary sewer service since January 1, 2001 according to building permit <br />records; and <br />WHEREAS, the City owns and operates a municipal waste water collections <br />system covered under a Waste Discharge Requirements permit from the State Water <br />Resources Control Board (WDID# 2SS010168); and <br />ATTY/RESO.0064/CC RESO AUTHORIZING APPROVAL FOR EXTENSION OF SEWER SERVICE —475 UPLAND RD RESO NO. 15979 <br />REV: 09-01-2021 VR MUFF # 802 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
