<br />MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD <br /> <br />September 14.2009 <br />MO. 09-202 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: September 15, 2009 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Building, Infrastructure, and Transportation <br /> <br />SUBJECT: (1) Enter into a Customer Work Order Agreement with Ecology <br />Action, who represents this Program; (2) waive the public bidding <br />process pursuant to California Government Code Section 4217.10 <br />et. seq., and (3) enter into an Agreement with Energy Services <br />contract with the firm A Bright Idea (ABI) of Union City to replace <br />lighting fixtures in the Jefferson Avenue Underground Parking <br />Garage. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 7A (304) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on September 14, 2009. <br /> <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Bain, Hartnett, Ira, Pierce, Vice Mayor Howard and <br />Mayor Foust <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Howard to: (1) approve the Customer Work Order Agreement with <br />Ecology Action; (2) find the best interests of the public agency are served by <br />participation in this program, and that the anticipated cost to the city for the <br />purchase and installation of these conservation measures will be less than the <br />anticipated marginal cost to the city of the electrical energy that would have been <br />consumed by the city without the purchase and installation of these conservation <br />measures; and (3) authorize the execution of an Energy Services contract with <br />A Bright Idea (ASI) to replace lighting fixtures in the Jefferson Avenue <br />Underground Parking Garage for $94,879.84 and authorize the City Manger to <br />increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 100/0 of the amount awarded. <br />
