<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 612 <br /> <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 600, ~~TITLED <br />"AUTHORIZING SALE OF PROPERTY TO THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE CONSTRUC- <br />TION OF AN ARMORY FOR THE NATIONAL GUARDia <br /> <br />WHEREAS Resolution No. 600, entitled "Authorizing Sale <br />of Property to the State of California fo~ the Construction of <br />an Armory for the National Guard", adopted by the City Council <br />of the City of Redwood City on the 2nd day of August, 1948, <br />provides that oonstruction of a State Armory on the premises <br />therein sold shall commence within one (1) year from the date <br /> <br />hereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Department of Finance of the state of Oali- <br /> <br />fornia has required that construction of the proposed armory <br />co~~enoe within- three (3) years instead of one (1) year; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Paragraph 1 of said <br /> <br />resolution be, and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"1. The State of California will conunenoe oonstruction <br />of a State Armory on the premises within three (3) years from the <br />date hereof and will thereafter prosecute such construction to <br />completion with due diligence.
