R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 640 <br /> ACCEPTING DEEDS FROM JOHN E. LAYNG AND <br /> BERTHA LAYNG, HIS WIFE, ARTHUR N. BLOMQUIST <br /> AND ELSIE U. BLOMQUIST, HIS WIFE, AND IRVIN <br /> C. BLOMQUIST AND JESSIE BLOMQUIST, HIS WIFE <br /> RESOLVED, that deeds dated December 1, 1948 from <br /> JOHN E. LAYNG and BERTHA LAYNG, his wife, ARTHUR N. BLOMQUIST and <br /> ELSIE U. BLOMQUIST, his wife, and IRVIN C. BLOMQUIST and JESSIE <br /> BLOIVIQUIST, his wife, to l the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, be, and hereby <br /> are accepted on behalf of the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br /> Said deeds cover the following described property: <br /> ( 1) An area consisting of 13.59 acres adjacent to <br /> Steinberger Street, being a portion of parcel 5, described <br /> in "Decree Establishing Title" to lands adjacent to Stein- <br /> berger Street, recorded in Decree Volume 571, Pages 389 to <br /> 392, inclusive, San Mateo County Records. <br /> ( 2) An easement for the construction of sewer <br /> lines and appurtenances thereto ten (10) feet in width, be- <br /> ginning at the most northeasterly side of the property de- <br /> scribed in (1) above, and extending from said property 240 <br /> perpendicularly to the aforementioned property line into <br /> Steinberger Creek. <br /> (3) An easement ten (10) feet in width for the <br /> construction and maintenance of sewer lines and appurtenances <br /> thereto, beginning' at a point approximately 981 northeast <br /> along the line of Steinberger Street from the intersection of <br /> the northerly line% of Bay shore Highway and the Southeasterly <br /> line of Steinberger Street; thence in an easterly direction, <br /> generally parallel ' to the existing Bayshore Highway, for a <br /> distance of approximately 1768 feet. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of December, 1948, by <br /> the following vote: <br /> AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br /> resolution: Councilmen: Britschgi, Granger, Holmquist, Morgan, Spillers, <br /> Swift and Werder. <br /> NOES, Councilmen: None <br /> ABSENT, Councilmen: None <br /> 7/17,-; ;) <br /> Attes fi , , Mayor of the ity of Redwood City <br /> Clerk of the City Redwood Ci°�ty <br /> I hereby approve the foregoing resolution <br /> this 6th day of December, 1948. <br /> Mayor of the L'ity or 546ity <br />
