<br />(" J J- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />685 <br /> <br />ORDERING STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ABATE NUISANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 669, duly adopted by the <br />Council of Redwood City on the 7th day of February, 1949, said <br />Council declared certain weeds growing upon all the sidewalks, <br />streets, avenues, roads, boulevards, and highways and all of the <br />lots and property in the City of Redwood City to be a nuisance <br />and ordered their abatement; and <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 669 ordered a public <br />hearing to hear any objections to the removal of such weeds on <br />March 7, 1949; and <br />WHEREAS, due notice of such hearing was given by posting <br />notices on all the lots and property in the City of Redwood City <br />declared to have weeds thereon, constituting a nuisance; and <br />WHEREAS, no objections, written or oral, were inter- <br />posed at that time; and <br />WHEREAS, such hearing was continued until March 21, <br /> <br />1949; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That no protests, oral or written, to the removal <br />of weeds declared to be a nuisance by Resolution No. 669 of the <br />Council of Redwood City have been received. <br />2. That the Street Superintendent be and he hereby <br />is directed to remove all the weeds declared to be a nuisance by <br />said Resolution No. 669 at the expense of the owners of the lots <br />or property upon Which, or in front of which such nuisance exists. <br />3. That the Street Superintentent is further ordered <br />and directed to keep an itemized account of the cost of abating such <br />nuisance upon each separate lot or in front thereor, or both. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
