FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR INCREASE OF FUNDING THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ("Amendment'), is entered into this 25th day of May , 2022 ("Effective Date") by and between the REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ("District'), a political subdivision of the State of California, and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("City"), a California municipal corporation. WITN"SETH WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement For Services Between the Redwood City School District and the City of Redwood City ("Agreement') for expanded learning services effective on July 30, 2021, for an amount not to exceed $546,795.28; and WHEREAS, the parties now desire to amend the Agreement to increase the Base and Supplemental Compensation to reflect an increase in the state approved funding for After School Education and Safety (ASES), 21St Century (21St) Programs, and The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES HEREBY AGREE TO AMEND THE AGREEMENT AS FOLLOWS: 1. Section 3, Compensation, is hereby replaced in its entirety to read as follows: A. Base Compensation (School Days) The CONTRACTOR agrees to perform all the services of this agreement during the school days as established in the school calendar approved by the Governing Board for an amount not to exceed $505,891.29 subject to the Contingency provision of Section 18 of this Agreement. Requirements for compensation for this Agreement are described in Attachment B.
