<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 692 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SIGN TELETYPE <br />SERVICE CONTRACT WITH SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of Redwood City is desirous <br />of participating in a teletypewriter service which the <br />County of San Mateo is planning to establish for the <br />purpose of facilitating the detection of crime and the <br /> <br />. apprehension of criminals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the County of San Mateo has submitted <br /> <br />a form of contract to be entered into by and between the <br />City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, whereby <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City will agree to pay its pro-rata <br /> <br />share of the expense of such teletypewriter service; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED <br /> <br />that the City Manager be and he hereby is authorized to <br />enter into the contract which has been submitted by the <br />County of San Mateo regarding participation in such tele- <br /> <br />typewriter service. <br /> <br />~~ <br />1\ <br /> <br />~-t- <br /> <br />~-~ <br /> <br />" <br />.. <br /> <br />" <br />,. <br /> <br />" <br />.. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the Citl _of <br />Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 4th <br />day of April, 1949, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption <br />of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: Brltschgi, Granger, <br /> <br />Holmquist, Morgan, Spillers, swift and Werder. <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />Councilmen: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: None. <br /> <br />7~W~ <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />I hereb~ approve the foregoing <br />resolution this ~ day of April, 1949. <br /> <br /> <br />Ma~orl" <br />
