California has chosen central reporting <br /> for ARRA funds,i.e.gathering the information ftom funding recipients and reporting it to the <br /> federal government.The Califomia Recovery Task Force is collecting al[data from state <br /> departments and its sub-recipients into one system,which will then submit this data according to <br /> federal requirements. <br /> Cities that have received ARRA funds through a Califomia state agency must report to that state <br /> agency.The agency's contact person can provide information on what needs to be reported as <br /> well as formaf requirements. <br /> Please note that cities reporting through the state are still required to register with <br /> www.federalreporti n4.ctov. <br /> For more information on submitting reports to the state,please contact Jennifer Grutzius with the <br /> Califomia Recavery Task Force at(916)324-7728 or iennifer.arutziustu�recoverv.ca.qov. <br /> . Oct.10 Accountabifity Reports to Receive Time for Reconc[liation <br /> The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board(RATB}announced on Sept. 14 that it was <br /> moving the dates by which it would make data from recipients of recovery funds availabls to the <br /> public.This will give recipients of recovery funds a short reconciliation period to make correckions <br /> following the submittal of their repor�s on Oct. 10. <br /> This change comes in response to concems raised by states and local govemments to RATB <br /> plans to make all informa�ion it received on Oct. 10 public immediatefy and before recipients had <br /> an opportunity to reconcile their reports. <br /> To address these concems,the RATB decided to adjust and follow the time(ine for displaying <br /> recipient data on www.recoverv.qov. Data associated with contracts awarded directly by the <br /> federal government will be displayed Oct. 15;data regarding grants,loans,and other assistance <br /> will be displayed Oct. 30;and a11 changes made by recipients during the reconciliation period will <br /> be made public after Nov. 1. <br /> 8 <br />
