In many ways, hazard mitigation <br />strives to prevent impacts that response and recovery efforts address so much of the recovery framework is <br />applicable to LHMP planning. The following framework was adapted from the Recovery Initiative for the use <br />of planning partners to incorporate equity into the MJLHMP process. <br /> <br />Figure 2. It can be difficult to identify ways to operationalize equity in to a <br />structured public planning process. The following grid provides detailed examples of equity considerations <br />and recommended actions tailored for different aspects of the LHMP process. <br /> <br />Table 1.
