RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O.~ CONFIRMING WEED ABATEMENT REPORT WHEREAS by Resolution No. 669, adopted by the Council of Redwood City on February 7, 1949, certain weeds in said City were declared to be a nuisance; and WtiEREAS by Resolution No. 685, adopted by said Council on March 21, 1949, the Superintendent of Streets of Redwood City was ordered to abate the aforementioned nuisance by removing said weeds; and WHEREAS said Superintendent of Streets has sub- mitted to the Council of Redwood City for confirmation an itemized report, which report shows the cost of removing such weeds from or in front of each separate parcel of land from which said weeds were removed; and WHEREAS, as appears from the affidavit of said Superintendent of Streets on file herein, a copy of said re- port was posted at or near the Council Chamber door of the City of Redwood City, together with a notice of the time said l~eport would be confirmed by said Council, for more than three (3) days prior to October 3, 1949; NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the itemized report of the Superintendent of Streets to the Council of Redwood City, showing the cost of removing weeds on each separate lot or in front thereof in the City of Redwood City, is hereby confirmed and the cost of re- moving said weeds from or in front of each separate lot shall constitute a lien on said lots. 4, 2. That a copy of said report shall be delivered to the Tax Collector of the City of Redwood City, who shall add the amounts of the assessments to the next regular bill for taxes assessed against said lots.
