The program aims to support the community with skyrocketing mental <br />health issues, rising rates of depression and social isolation, and to help students feel connected <br />during distance learning, and stay in school by forming positive relationships with an adult who <br />cares for them who is not from their family. Friends for Youth aims to match more youth in the <br />Redwood City community to 1-to-1 mentors, as well as set the groundwork for expansion to <br />Redwood High School and Woodside High School. <br />Primary Quantitative Objectives: <br />Friends for Youth will serve 400 incorporated Redwood City persons in 100 households. <br /> <br />NOTE: The grant performance period begins July 1, 2021 and concludes June 30, 2022 <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.293/Friends for Youth (HSFA FY21-22 Service Agreement) (Page 10 of 10)
