21-416 11/18/2021 06:16:04 PMCheckmates SMC Gov <br />Dear Redwood City elected officials and Police Chief Dan <br />Mullholland, It is my understanding the Redwood City Police <br />Department responded to the 1100 block of Sanchez Way in 2018 <br />on the report of an active domestic violence incident involving a <br />current Sheriff’s Office Captain. (Case-18-040391) Per the <br />California Public Records Act Request, I would ask the City of <br />Redwood City provide the following information: 1) Confirmation <br />this investigation was forwarded to the San Mateo County District <br />Attorney for review and filing of criminal charges. 2) Any <br />documents or communications either to or from the District <br />Attorneys Office regarding any additional follow up requests of the <br />criminal investigation or decision made of any criminal filings of the <br />Sheriff’s Office Captain. 3) Any communication regarding this <br />incident via email, phone logs, texts from any member of the <br />Redwood City Police Department to Sheriff Carlos Bolaños or any <br />other member of the Sheriff’s Office. 4) The identity of the San <br />Mateo Sheriff’s Office Captain involved in the domestic violence <br />incident. 5) Any communication from the Sheriff’s Office to the <br />Redwood City Police Department regarding any Internal <br />Investigation conducted by either the Sheriffs Office or the Redwood <br />City Police Department of it’s own officers present at the domestic <br />violence incident. 6) List of all Redwood City officers, including <br />supervisors and all Administrators, who reviewed and approved of <br />the report. To be more specific, the RIMS log, which shows all <br />Redwood City staff members who either viewed the report or <br />authored any part of this investigation. 7) All available recordings; <br />audio and video. 8) Dispatch log of the incident.
