How many of your customers have received a water shutoff notice on or after March 4, 2020? 2. How many notices sent on or after March 4, 2020 are still in effect? I am requesting these records on behalf of SPUR, a nonprofit think tank focused on regional planning and public policy. I will be consulting with SPUR as a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley. I request a waiver of fees because my interest in the records is not for commercial purposes, and disclosure of the information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to public understanding of the impact of the utility’s water shutoffs. I will expect a response within 15 business days. If my request is denied in whole or in part, I expect a detailed justification for withholding the records.
