REV: 01-28-2022 MI <br />in this subsection, the term “additional revenues” includes the value of any other services, <br />credits, property of every kind or nature, or other consideration received by the City in lieu <br />of monetary payment. <br />The work performed specific to AB1717 shall not be construed as permitting a contingent <br />fee arrangement as payment for services rendered pertaining to prepaid local charges; <br />and any fees paid by the City to Consultant for city-specific auditing of a "seller" of prepaid <br />wireless UUT remitting to the CDTFA, shall only be performed on a fixed fee basis or on <br />an hourly time and material basis and shall not involve any contingent fee arrangement. <br />This contract is for services outlined within the scope of work and it is not anticipated that <br />there will be the need for any additional UUT services outside the scope of work. <br />However, should the City request additional consulting services outside the scope of <br />work, these will be provided on an hourly basis and only provided upon approval of the <br />City. Consultant fees for services performed on an hourly rate schedule shall depend on <br />the personnel assigned to perform the work, and shall be based on the job classification <br />as follows: <br />Principal: $200 per hour <br />Project Manager: $175 per hour <br />Client Services: $150 per hour <br />Information Technology (IT) support: $175 per hour <br />Director or Manager: $175 per hour <br />Senior Analyst: $125 per hour <br />Analyst: $100 per hour <br />Administrative: $75 per hour <br />These additional consulting services will be invoiced at least monthly based on actual <br />time and expenses incurred. <br />UUT PROGRAM OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE <br />The UUT Compliance Program’s services will protect the City’s existing UUT revenues <br />from erosion due to new legislation, new technologies, outdated ordinance language <br />and inaccurate information, focusing on these areas: <br />Compliance <br />Administrative <br />Legislative Review and Implementation Strategy <br />Ordinance Review, Administrative Rulings, and Tax Inquiries <br />Compliance Activities <br />Consultant will provide the following Compliance Activities: <br />1. UUT Tax Application Review.
