Construction Services Agreement <br />REV: 04-26-2021 PR <br />00 5205 - 57 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />USE OF LEAD BASED PAINTS <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provisions of the "Lead Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act", lead based paint is <br />prohibited form use on all interior surfaces and such exterior surfaces as stairs, decks, porches, <br />railings, windows and doors which are readily accessible to children. <br /> <br />"Lead Based Paint" means (1) any paint containing more than five-tenths (5/10) of one per centum <br />lead by weight (calculated as lead metal) in the total non-volatile content of the paint or the <br />equivalent measure of lead in the dried film of paint applied or both; (2) for paint manufactured after <br />June 22, 1977 any paint containing more than six one-hundredths (6/100) of one per centum lead <br />by weight (calculated as lead metal) in the total content of the paint or the equivalent measure of <br />lead in the dried film of paint already applied. <br />
