By motion, establish June 13, 2022 as the date on which the City Manager <br />shall submit a proposed budget to the City Council; and <br />4. City Council Referral: Future consideration of public ownership of mixed- <br />income housing <br /> <br />City Manager Melissa Stevenson Diaz gave an overview of the City Council <br />Referral process, and Council Member Espinoza-Garnica spoke about the <br />referral. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Discuss whether to direct staff to return at a future meeting with a report on <br />resources required to study public ownership of mixed-income housing. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />Motion and second, Reddy and Howard, to engage the City Council <br />Governance Sub-Committee to examine the repeal of Article 34 of the <br />California Constitution when the Sub-Committee has capacity to do so, and to <br />also research and analyze a future resolution to support Assembly Bill 2053 <br />for City Council consideration at a later date, passes unanimously by roll call <br />vote. <br /> <br /> 10.B.
