Code § 27383] <br />Cert-, c«te 2� 88.I6k)(A) <br />Grant of Public Services Easement <br />THE UNDERSIGNED GRANTOR DECLARES AS FOLLOWS: <br />The undersigned declares that this Grant of Easement is exempt from Recording Fees <br />pursuant to California Government Code section 27383 and exempt from Documentary <br />Transfer Tax pursuant to California Revenue and Taxation Code section 11922. <br />FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the <br />County of San Mateo, a political subdivision of the State of California ("Grantor") <br />GRANTS to the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />("Grantee"), a non-exclusive perpetual easement upon, over and under that certain real <br />property in Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California as more particularly <br />described in and shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference ("Maple Buffer Easement Area"). The provisions of this Grant of Easement <br />are intended to and shall run with the land in perpetuity, and will bind, be a charge upon <br />and inure to the benefit of Grantor and Grantee, their respective successors and assigns. <br />THE PURPOSE(S) OF THE EASEMENT shall be for the purpose of installation, <br />maintenance, repair and replacement of public facilities owned and operated by Grantee <br />as well as other public agencies, and including utility mains, storm drains, future utility <br />and service installations and appurtenances under, upon, or across the parcel of real <br />property described in and shown on Exhibit A. Said parcel to be kept open and free from <br />buildings and structures of any kind, except for lawful fences, surface pavement, lawful <br />unsupported roof overhangs, and irrigation systems, and appurtenances thereof. This <br />grant of easement shall include the right of Grantee to authorize other public agencies <br />the right to use the Maple Buffer Easement Area for the stated purpose of the easement. <br />OAK #4887-2728-2176 v3 <br />
