REV: 05-04-2022 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant’s crew will consist of one Landscape Supervisor and 2-3 Consultant trainees. <br />Consultant’s crew will beautify parks by picking up litter, removing weeds and replanting <br />landscape beds during the Consultant Schedule identified below: <br />Consultant Schedule: <br />Mondays – 2 hours of beautification at Red Morton Park and 2 hours of <br />beautification at Hoover Park starting after 7am and completed before 2pm <br />Tuesdays – 2 hours of beautification at Red Morton Park and 1 hour of <br />beautification at Hoover Park starting after 7am and completed before 2pm <br />Wednesdays – 2 hours of beautification at Red Morton Park and 1 hour of <br />beautification at Hoover Park starting after 7am and completed before 2pm <br />Thursdays – 2 hours of beautification at Red Morton Park and 1 hour of <br />beautification at Hoover Park starting after 7am and completed before 2pm <br />Fridays – 2 hours of beautification at Red Morton Park and 1 hour of beautification <br />at Hoover Park starting after 7am and completed before 2pm <br />Consultant will work weekly for 6 months from execution of contract. <br />Beautification activities will include: <br />Litter Pickup: Consultant will remove litter from park areas including, but not limited to <br />recreational areas; fields, playgrounds, and passive recreation areas. Litter can be placed <br />in City dumpsters within park. <br />Weed removal: Consultant will remove weeds from park areas including, but not limited <br />to: pathways, tree planting areas, and landscape beds. Weeds can be placed in green <br />waste bins in park. <br />Replanting: Consultant will identify landscape beds with missing/dead plants. Consultant <br />will test irrigation to make sure it covers plant and is in working order. If any location with <br />missing or dead plants is a suitable replanting location, Consultant will mark for <br />replacement. Consultant will furnish Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />Assistant Director or designee with a list of areas and plants proposed for replacement <br />planting for their review and approval. City will provide plants to Consultant to plant at a <br />date chosen by the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Assistant Director or <br />designee. Consultant will monitor plants for 60 days following their planting to ensure <br />establishment. <br />Consultant will provide walk-through inspections upon the request of the Parks, <br />Recreation, and Community Services Assistant Director or designee. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.103/Kainos Home and Training Center (Page 11 of 12)
