DocuSign Envelope ID: C886763F-61`11-40FB-A710-BAC5AF9A400C EXHIBIT A The City of Redwood City ("City") is seeking ways to streamline and create a seamless, end-to-end digital experience for its permitting, inspections and code enforcement processes through technology. Camino Technology Solutions, Inc. ("Consultant" or "Camino"), is developing an advanced technology platform called Camino ("Platform") designed with artificial intelligence and analytics capabilities to help improve the ability of government agencies to process applications and permits, manage inspections and code enforcement activities and engage with the public. Through a one (1) year pilot project between the City and Consultant, the City will provide critical feedback to Consultant on the development and optimization of the Platform and in exchange, Consultant will provide the Platform to the City at a discounted rate. Platform Goals and Features Outlined below is a list of features that Camino aims to develop under the pilot project as part of a future permit and land management system. Specific priorities and delivery dates are subject to change as new information is discovered. As part of this pilot project, the City will have an opportunity to test and provide feedback on the list below: ■ Digital checklist that makes it easier for applicants to understand the City's application and permit submittal requirements and development policies, standards and fees. • Automated permit issuance for applications or permits that do not require plan review or inspections. ■ Ability to validate inputs whenever possible so as to minimize data entry errors. • Ability to allow applicants to review and sign applications and affidavits under penalty of perjury. • Integrated electronic payment system for credit cards, debit cards and automated clearing house payment capabilities. • Ability to securely collect digital files including scans, images, architectural plans, PDF documents and other types of supporting documentation including, but not limited to, proofs of residency, landlord permissions, etc. • Ability to integrate external data sources and systems using a secure REST API. • Ability to import historical records from existing legacy permit system. • Ability to dynamically and automatically cross reference property information and permit, inspection and code enforcement data with other relevant databases including, but not limited to, GIS data sources and other electronic sources of information. • Ability to have applicants confirm that they have submitted all required application materials prior to being allowed to submit application online. • Ability to have applicants confirm that they have completed all required work prior to being allowed to schedule an inspection online. • Ability to make all data processed or generated by the Platform available to the City in real-time and accessible and exportable via an Open API and other formats as deemed necessary by the City including JSON, CSV, shapefiles, etc. REV: 03-05-2020 PR Pilot Project Software Agreement for the Automated Permit and Land Management System Camino Technologies Corporation
