REV: 09-08-2022 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will manage and oversee the ACE Program: Action Create and Engage for Transitional <br />Age Youth (ACE) program to address youth crime, truancy and criminal disobedience in Redwood <br />City and surrounding communities. <br />Consultant will provide the below described deliverables to achieve the defined program goals. <br />Goal 1: Ensure access to youth development programs in the City of Redwood City and <br />surrounding communities to support mentorship pathways to workforce development and self- <br />empowerment through the months of September 2022 to August 2023. <br />Consultant Deliverables: <br />1. Organize and co-lead monthly ACE Plan Committee meetings with Redwood City Together <br />for the purposes of status/reporting, describe measurable successes, share challenges, <br />present opportunities, request any additional support needed, and update next steps and <br />timelines. <br />2. Identify and work with Community Based Organizations (CBO’s) to help implement the ACE <br />Plan and meet program goals. This includes scheduling and facilitating weekly meetings <br />with CBO’s and monthly meetings with Redwood City Together and the City of Redwood <br />City. <br />3. Meet and work with business leaders, government agencies, CBO’s, and any other <br />community-minded professionals on a monthly basis to develop job opportunities for youth <br />in vulnerable communities. <br />4. Meet monthly with mental and behavioral health support organizations to develop <br />agreements and deliver programs at schools and after-school program sites in coordination <br />with the City and the Redwood City School District. <br />5. Develop and provide weekly coaching and mentorship programs for youth in vulnerable <br />communities. This includes direct staffing, management, and oversight of programs and <br />youth attending. Programs may include, but are not limited to, strength training, sports clinics, <br />league play, podcast, and more. <br />Goal 2: Consultant will host events with community-based program partners for Transitional <br />Age Youth (TAY) to support healthy youth development. <br />Consultant Deliverables: <br />1. Develop specific weekday and weekend programs for the #BikeLife group, including but not <br />limited to biking events, athletic activities, art/expressive activities; etc., including direct <br />provision of programs by consultant; facilitating programs by the CBO’s, and by managing <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.329/Police Activities League (Page 11 of 13)
