Flow Well Maintenance Plan <br />for 3247 Oak Knoll Drive <br />A Flow Well is a buried manhole type structure, <br />within an excavated area backfilled with a stone <br />aggregate, and lined with a filter fabric. Routine Maintenance Activities <br />The principal maintenance objective is to prevent sediment buildup and clogging, which reduces pollutant removal <br />efficiency and may lead to failure. Routine maintenance activities, and the frequency at which they will be <br />conducted, are shown in Table 1. <br />Table 1 <br />Routine Maintenance Activities for Flow Wells <br />No. Maintenance Task Frequency of Task <br />Remove obstructions, debris and trash from the Flow Well area Monthly, or as needed after storm events <br />and dispose of properly. <br />2 Inspect Row Well to ensure that R drains between storms, f Monthly during wet season, or as needed after storm <br />and within 5 days after rainfall.
