REV: 10-21-2022 MI <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Services <br />Contractor shall provide the City with supply of a new boiler and boiler replacement services at <br />the Project Location. <br />Project Location: 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />The items to be supplied are as follows: <br />Qty. 1 - Riello Array Model AR-1000 (1,000 MBH Input) factory fabricated, assembled, and <br />tested, stainless steel (AISI 316L) water-tube condensing boiler. The product shall be BAAQMD <br />compliant with regulation 9, rule 6, and exempt from regulation 9, rule 7. <br />Qty. 1 - System temperature sensor with thermowell. <br />Qty. 1- Outside air sensor. <br />Qty. 1 - BKI Industries Model BKI-1000 Condensate neutralization unit. <br />Qty. 1 - Outdoor cover <br />The boiler shall have a ten-year heat exchanger warranty and a five-year burner warranty from <br />the manufacturer. <br />The services to be provided are as follows: <br />•Disconnect existing boiler and crane off roof <br />•Clean surfaces to prepare for new boiler <br />•Crane up new boiler into place on roof <br />•Pipe primary and secondary loops <br />•Pipe drain lines <br />•Connect exhaust piping <br />•Install outdoor cover <br />•Make gas connection <br />•Make electrical connections <br />Fee <br />City shall pay Contractor a flat-rate fee of Forty-Five Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Five Dollars <br />($45,345) for removal of the existing boiler at the Project Location and the supply and installation <br />of a new boiler as described in the Scope of Services.
