REV: 09-14-2022 EI <br />the Channel and storm drains during work activities. Redwood City shall keep the work area and <br />right-of-way clean of debris from project activities. After removal of spoils, Redwood City shall <br />leave the area in as clean a condition as it was before the work. <br />Disposal of materials removed from the Channel and banks shall be arranged by the City of Menlo <br />Park. <br />Redwood City shall provide access to toilet facilities for its workers. There are no public facilities <br />near the work site. <br />Regulatory Provisions <br />The City of Menlo Park will provide Redwood City personnel with site-specific trainings necessary <br />to perform work under the SAA. The City of Menlo Park will also arrange for any monitoring <br />services (e.g. biological monitor) as required by the SAA. <br />Equipment <br />Redwood City shall provide the necessary equipment (e.g. hand tools and a ten-ton telescopic <br />crane truck with a clamshell bucket) for the project. The City of Menlo Park shall provide five yard <br />dump trucks for vegetation and debris removal from job site. However, in the event of an <br />unforeseen equipment, failure such that the annual flood control maintenance cannot be <br />completed prior to October 31 of that year, Redwood City shall notify City of Menlo Park, and at <br />the discretion of the City of Menlo Park, there will be three alternatives to completing the project: <br />•The City of Menlo Park shall cover the cost of renting replacement equipment for Redwood <br />City’s use, or <br />•The City of Menlo Park shall pay for all services that were provided by Redwood City, and <br />the City of Menlo Park will assume responsibility for completing the remainder of the <br />project through other means, or <br />•After Redwood City is able to assess the extent of the equipment failure and provide an <br />estimated timeline for repair or replacement, City of Menlo Park shall seek an extension <br />approval from California Department of Fish and Wildlife so that the project can be <br />completed by Redwood City, given this timeline is agreeable with the needs of the City of <br />Menlo Park. <br />Scheduling and Hours <br />The City of Menlo Park shall initiate scheduling with Redwood City each year. The City of Menlo <br />Park shall provide Redwood City with as much advance notice as possible to arrange for <br />personnel and equipment. <br />The period in which to conduct project activities shall follow the timeline specified in the SAA. The <br />allowable working hours will be 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on <br />weekends, except where otherwise specified by the City of Menlo Park. Project activities shall <br />span between four (4) to six (6) working days each year, depending on site conditions. Working <br />days are anticipated to be between ten (10) and twelve (12) hours in length. <br />2.
