REV: 11-14-2022 MI <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />SERVICES <br />Consultant will perform four compensation studies involving classification and <br />compensation. The studies include: <br />Study 1: <br />Total Compensation and <br />Compaction Study 24 Executive Management Classifications <br />Study 2: <br />Compensation and <br />Classification Study <br />Human Services Manager – Evaluate scope of work, update <br />classification description & recommend compensation. <br />GIS Manager – study comparison to the City’s Information Technology <br />classifications, labor market, scope of work and internal equity/ <br />compensation. <br />Study 3: <br />Classification Study <br />Assistant Engineer I, Assistant Engineer II and Associate Engineer - <br />Study and update classification descriptions in this flexibly-staffed <br />engineer series and recommend education, experience, and training <br />qualifications, required licenses, and certificates. <br />Administrative Clerk III - <br />Study current scope of work to determine if position has evolved into <br />an Administrative Secretary classification (RCMEA bargaining group). <br />Administrative Clerk II - <br />Study position to determine if appropriately classified. <br />Study 4: <br />Classification Study <br />Recreation Supervisor – <br />Study current scope of work to determine if position has evolved into <br />a Recreation Manager classification <br />Study Objectives <br />In conducting classification studies, Consultant will : <br />Analyze and update the City’s classification system and each study position’s classification <br />description and structure through a comprehensive process of job analysis and evaluation, <br />including review of existing documentation, position description questionnaire completion, <br />employee interviews, management interviews, analysis of existing positions and working <br />situations, analysis of levels of duties and responsibilities, and other professional methods, <br />as appropriate; <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.395/Koff & Associates (Page 11 of 17)
