REV: 10-10-2022 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant shall provide City with services on an as-needed basis at the request of the <br />Public Works Facilities Superintendent or their designee. <br />Services include: <br />•Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Engineering <br />•Field Investigation and evaluation of existing systems and facilities <br />•Developing fire sprinkler conceptual designs and providing performance base <br />specifications. <br />•Performing calculations and generating MEP Title 24 reports <br />•Developing and placing technical specifications in all drawings. <br />•Submitting construction documents for Plan Check review and permitting. <br />•Preparing issued versions of engineering documents for construction drawings <br />and specifications. <br />•Providing construction support services such as review of contractor product <br />submittals, responding to RFIs, attending construction meetings, performing <br />punch walks and lists and preparing record drawings based on contractor’s <br />redline markups. <br />•Developing “As-built” conditions of existing facilities <br />•Archiving of existing plans and specifications <br />•Energy consumption analysis <br />•Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and sustainability <br />studies <br />Consultant is responsible for the technical quality of all deliverables prepared by <br />Consultant and the Consultant's sub-consultants. Before submitting completed <br />deliverables to City, Consultant must check all deliverables for technical accuracy and <br />coordination within and between disciplines. <br />Consultant must ensure that systems and equipment will fit in interstitial spaces (above <br />ceiling), chases, and equipment rooms. Consultant must verify, through means that may <br />include preparation of isometric drawings depicting various locations, that systems and <br />equipment, such as HVAC, plumbing, voice/data cabling, electrical bus ducts, suspended <br />ceilings and light fixtures, sprinkler lines, security raceways/cabling, and insulation, will fit <br />in allotted spaces, and not interfere with structural and fixed architectural elements of the <br />building. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.371/YEI Engineers, Inc.
