EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Work <br />INSIGHT Market Analytics (1 -year) <br />Provide analytics data on targeted areas of interest with up to date trade area data for recruitment of <br />refailers fo your community. Includes 3 trade areas and the City. <br />Includes the following reports: <br />1) Consumer Demographic Profile <br />2) Household Segmentation Profile <br />3) Employment Profile <br />4) Consumer Demand & Market Supply Assessment and <br />5) Supporting Trade Area Maps. <br />Compensation $3,000 (Fixed Fee) <br />Retail Assessment <br />Preparation of a Retail Assessment to evaluate the retail environment in Redwood City including an <br />assessment of retail trade areas, competition from surrounding communities, understanding the influence <br />of market analytics, analysis of consumer demand/market supply, sales tax performance of existing <br />businesses and retail categories, void analysis and recommended next steps to help enhance Redwood <br />City's retail marketplace. <br />f <br />Compensation $12,000 (Fixed Fee) <br />Total Compensation <br />$15,000 to be paid in monthly installments until the Services are complete. <br />Representative <br />The consultant representing HdL shall be Barry Foster, Principal/ Managing Director for ECONSolutions <br />along with staff support from Angela Tsui, Senior Advisor and Fienna Chung, Analyst.
