THE COUNCIL: <br />The Council shall be comprised of seven Councilmembers, including the Mayor, and shall be <br />the legislative body of the City, each of the members of which, including the Mayor, shall have <br />the right to vote upon all questions before it. <br />Councilmembers shall be elected at each general municipal election and shall hold office for <br />the term of four years from and after the Monday next succeeding the day of such C r�iflcati_on <br />of election or, if such election shall have been consolidated with a statewide election or a <br />school district election, from and after the first regular meeting of the Council following the <br />canvass of the returns of the election and the declaration of the results by the agency or officer <br />so empowered.
