S\~n,jl.IING POOL PROJECT \1F..EBEAS, the State of California under Chapter 4.7, Statutes of 1944, (4.th Extra Session) has appropriated funds for allotment by the Director of Finance to provide financial assistance to Local Agencies defined the~ein as cOlmties, cities or cities and counties for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half of the cost of preparing engineering field sltrVeys, engineering or'architectuTal designs, and 1,-rorking and detailed draHings and specifications (hereinafte.r called I1Plansn) required for posh/ar public 1,,forks proj ects described as "specific projects" in said Act; and 1ilHEREAS, the CITY OF RED\'JOOD CITY, hereinafter designated as ilLocal Agency" desires to apply to the Director of Finance and/or the State Allocation Board, as the case .may l:)e, for an allotment of the State 1 s share of the estimated cost of pre:paring the completed plans b.ereinafter mentioned and there has been prerared :nd presented to this Legis18tive Body for consider8tion an application for such pm"pose; and \:EEHEAS, Local Agency has provided, or "Jill make available upon approval of the aforeTIlentioned application, svSficient f~U1ds to prepare the completed plans herein mentioned; NO;] Tllli--:iEFORE BE IT RE:SClLiJ-:ED, that Local Agency SUbllli t the afol"esaid appli- cation to the Director of Finance and/or the Stave .Allocation Board, as the case may be, requesting allotment of One Thousand, Sixty-Seven and 97/100 Dollars C~1,067 .97) being not more than one-hall' the cost of preparing said completed plans, or for such amoU11t as lLay be approved by the Director of Finance and/or the State Allocation Board, (said. allot:;lent to be used for the purpose of defraying the cost of preparing said comp1eted r::'lans required) for a specific proj ect to be undertaken by local a!~'encJi. and described as "Colmm..mity Park SvJ:iJnming poolno BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the estimated cost of preparing such plans is 1~0 Thousand, Q1e Hlu1dred Thirty-Five and 95/100 Dollars ($2,135.95) and that Local Agency has made provision for paying one-half or more of the cost of preparing such plans; BE IT FLlliTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of this application, E.
