REV: 01-11-23 RL <br />Scope of Work: State and Federal Grant Writing Services <br />Provide grant writing and project management services, from start to finish of the proposal <br />development process. This includes the preparation of funding abstracts, project <br />narratives, and required forms and attachments. <br />Provide standalone monthly “Grant Activity Calls” to keep the City informed of upcoming <br />funding opportunities and progress on grant-seeking activities. These updates also come <br />in the form of monthly written reports distributed to the organization’s leadership team. <br />Work directly with organizational leadership teams to identify funding and service gaps to <br />inform grant-seeking activities. <br />Conduct continuous and comprehensive research, keeping the City informed of upcoming <br />grant opportunities. <br />Provide monthly “Funding Opportunities Catalog” documenting current and cyclical grant <br />programs from federal agencies, state agencies, and private foundations <br />Work directly with Redwood City’s State legislative advocacy team on analysis of the state <br />budget and trailer bills in order to effectively identify funding opportunities ahead of the <br />official postings by government agencies. <br />Prepare and provide in-house trainings for your organization to support grant-seeking and <br />administrative activities at the staff level. <br />Implement strong quality control measures, including thorough review of each form, check for <br />typographical or grammatical errors, and ensure that all required components for a complete <br />proposal are included in the application package. <br />FEES <br />ITEM <br />NO. <br />DESCRIPTION FEES <br />1 State Legislative advocacy and services as <br />outlined in scope of work. <br />$6000.00 Flat fee <br />monthly retainer <br />agreement <br />($72,000.00 annual) <br />2 Grant writing services $1,500.00/flat fee <br />monthly <br />($18,000.00 annual) <br />TOTAL:$90,000.00 annually <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.007/Penne Public Policy Group (Legislative review and advocay consultant) (Page 12 of 12)
