REV: 3-17-2023 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />I. What the Grantee will provide: <br />A.After school sports and youth programs: Provide year-round sports <br />programs for 2nd through 8th grades in the Redwood City School district. <br />Through collaboration with other organizations provide an after school <br />education and recreation program. <br />B.Toy drive: Coordinate an annual holiday toy drive in collaboration with <br />the Redwood City Police and Fire Departments to provide for the <br />donation and delivery of toys and books to disadvantaged youth in the <br />community. <br />C.Annual report: Grantee will provide an annual report describing how <br />Redwood City residents and youth were served by these programs. PAL <br />will work with the Redwood City Chief of Police and/or their designee <br />on a regular basis to discuss the quality and/or level of services <br />provided. <br />II. What the Grantor will provide: <br />A. Funding in the total amount of Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000) to <br />support after school sports and youth programs for Fiscal Year <br />2022/2023. <br />III. Agreement by both parties, in concept: <br />Both Grantee and Grantor recognize that this is a program that will need to be <br />reviewed annually to evaluate its effectiveness. Changes may be made if <br />warranted by the Grantor and/or community needs. If it appears that conditions <br />under which this Agreement was executed have changed or are no longer <br />applicable, practical, or suited to the general purposes stated in the Agreement, <br />Grantee will confer with Grantor to reach a mutually acceptable modification of its <br />scope. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.058/Police Activities League (Annual PAL Grant) (Page 7 of 7)
