REV: 3-24-2023 RL EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project requires the installation of three isolation valves along a stretch of approximately 7,750 linear feet of the Redwood Shores Sewer Force Main (Force Main). The Force Main begins at Pump Station 10, located off Davit Lane near Anchor Circle, and progresses west on Davit Lane towards Shell Parkway before connecting at Redwood Shores Parkway. The Force Main ultimately discharges to the Silicon Valley Clean Water Wastewater Treatment Facility. SCOPE OF SERVICES Consultant shall develop the design, plans, specifications, and provide consulting for the Redwood Shores Isolation Valve Installation project following City’s Engineering Standards and industry best practices. Specific tasks that the Consultant shall perform are outlined below. Task 1 – Project Administration & Coordination 1.1 Project Management Consultant shall prepare the work plan including project schedule and updates, project budget, and project progress and milestones. Consultant shall also prepare monthly invoices and progress reports and staff coordination. 1.2. Meetings and Coordination Consultant shall attend kick-off meeting and two design review meetings, progress meetings with City staff, pre-bid meeting, and preconstruction meeting. Consultant shall also prepare meeting agendas, update schedules, and provide timely meeting minutes following each meeting. 1.3. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Consultant shall conduct internal QA/QC for each submittal prior to submitting. Task 2 – Design 2.1. Initial Investigations 2.1.1. Data Collection and Review Consultant shall conduct thorough research to obtain all available utility information within the project area.
