accompanied by a written assurance acceptable to the City Engineer that the securities <br />required by Section 13 will remain enforceable throughout the term of the extension." <br />ARTICLE III. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Section 3.1 Reinstatement and Ratification. Developer and City hereby fully and <br />completely reinstate and reaffirm the SIA, and all of the terms, conditions and provisions <br />set forth therein and, except as expressly modified by this First Amendment, the SIA <br />remains in full force and effect. <br />Section 3.2 Effective Date and Recordation. The "Amendment Effective Date" of <br />this First Amendment shall be the date all of the Parties have executed this First <br />Amendment. The First Amendment shall be recorded in the Official Records of San <br />Mateo County within a reasonable time after the Amendment Effective Date. <br />Section 3.3 Execution in Counterparts.
