REV: 03-13-23 JB <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />GENERAL AND SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES FOR UTILITIES <br />SYSTEMS <br />Upon request by Task Order from the City, the Consultant shall provide as-needed, <br />supplemental, on-call general and specialized engineering support services during the <br />planning, analysis, design, and construction of capital improvement projects and in <br />support of ongoing operation and maintenance of the existing water, recycled water, <br />sewer collection, stormwater, flood resilience systems and infrastructure. This could <br />include, but is not restricted to the following activities: <br />A. Perform specific, limited model updates or calibrations or modifications to hydraulic <br />models to address configuration and operational changes <br />B. Conduct requested hydraulic evaluations in support of new infrastructure <br />improvement planning and design, and in evaluating new developments’ <br />infrastructure needs <br />C. Perform pipeline design and appurtenances that may be needed, including but not <br />limited to the following: <br />a.Pressure reducing valve station; <br />b.Air relief valve; <br />c.Isolating valve; <br />d.Supports and restraints <br />D. Design new and retrofitted pump station <br />E. Design new and retrofitted water tank <br />F. Perform engineering system feasibility studies, alternatives analysis and master <br />planning updates, technical analyses and condition assessments <br />G. Draft grant applications, compliance and reporting for awarded grants <br />H. Provide design, inspection, and construction management support during <br />construction <br />I. Provide all necessary project CEQA, regulatory permitting and environmental <br />clearance services and support <br />J. Attend meetings with City staff, and/or make presentations to City staff, other City <br />consultants, or City committees; and <br />K. Perform any related modeling, analysis, and general and specialized engineering <br />support not specifically addressed above but necessary to project delivery such as <br />structural engineering, electrical engineering, communications, SCADA system, <br />geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, hydrology engineering, <br />groundwater system, etc. and as requested by the City. <br />UTILITIES SERVICES EVALUATION FOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS <br />Upon request by Task Order from the City, the Consultant shall provide utilities services <br />evaluation for planning and development projects, including water, recycled water, sewer <br />collection, stormwater system and flood resilience analysis. Analysis could include, but is <br />not limited to: update and calibration of the models; evaluation of peak conditions and <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.046/GHD (On-call Engineering Services) (Page 11 of 17)
