REV: 04-28-23 JB <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES – TRANSPORTATION SERVICES <br />Upon request by Task Order from the City, the Consultant shall provide civil and <br />transportation planning and engineering services on an as-needed basis. Examples of <br />typical projects or requests include the following: <br />A.Development Review. Complete local transportation analyses (CEQA and non- <br />CEQA) for development projects (including both level of service (“LOS”) and <br />vehicle-miles traveled (“VMT”) evaluations in addition to other requirements of the <br />City’s Transportation Analysis Manual, peer review of local transportation analyses <br />provided by others, and review of offsite transportation improvements (potentially <br />involving vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, buses, and train tracks). <br />B.Active Transportation Planning and Design. Plan for and design of pedestrian <br />and bicycle facilities, plan complete streets projects, and develop Safe Routes to <br />School improvement plans. <br />C.Traffic Operations. Simulate isolated signals and corridors, develop improvement <br />plans for intersection modifications (modified lane configurations, signal timing <br />changes, new traffic controls, signal modifications), evaluate and respond to a <br />variety of community requests (e.g., stop signs, traffic signals, streetlights), collect <br />multimodal data and update engineering and traffic surveys. <br />D.Design Services. Complete feasibility and planning studies for transportation <br />facilities. <br />E.Community Outreach. Conduct inclusive community outreach in support of <br />various plans and projects that engages a broad spectrum of stakeholders with <br />tailored methods and materials. <br />F.Grant Writing Support.
