REV: 06-12-24 MI Exhibit “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Scope of Services The City Attorney requires the as-needed services of an outside expert to evaluate and provide support in responding to matters related to Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) compliance. As such, Consultant’s services will be subject to evidentiary protections under the attorney work product doctrine and/or attorney-client privilege, and all writing communications should be appropriately marked to preserve those protections. At the request of the City, support activities may include: •Document review •Drafting deliverables •Attending on-site or virtual meetings •Developing written compliance programs standard operating procedures and work orders, training curriculum, or training documentation Support may be provided in person or remotely, depending on the location of the resource and City’s preference. Fee Consultant shall bill City on a time and materials basis per the fee schedule below. Invoices shall be billed monthly with Net 30 payment terms, in a form consistent with Section 6, Compensation. Position Hourly Rate Principal, Industrial Hygiene & Safety $339 Associate Principal $295 Senior Consultant $269 Consultant, Industrial Hygiene & Safety $239 Consulting Specialist $188 Consulting Technician $159 Project Assistant $112 •Project costs (e.g. parking, photocopying, drawing reproduction, equipment rental) and travel costs (e.g., airfare, car rental, hotel, per diem) will be billed at cost plus 20% •Mileage will be billed at $0.80 per mile •Overtime will be billed at 1.5 x Hourly Rate if exceeding 8 hours in an hourly shift Double time will be billed at 2.0 x Hourly Rate if working more than 12 hours in an hourly shift •Travel time is billed as straight time from the nearest Consultant office ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
