Recommendation for Zoning Ordinance. The Planning Commission <br />of the City of Redwood City hereby recommends that the City Council adopt the Zoning <br />Ordinance Amendments as provided in Exhibit “A”, amending Section 31.12 (Home <br />Occupations) of Article 31 (Special Use) of the Zoning Ordinance, by adding text shown <br />in underline (example) and deleting the text shown in strikeout (example), and adding <br />Article 58 (Firearms and Ammunition Retail Sale Use) to the Zoning Ordinance, attached <br />hereto and incorporated by reference. Wording in brackets ([example]) is informational <br />only and is not to be included in the published ordinance. <br />Section 5. Additional Research. The Planning Commission hereby further directs <br />staff to conduct additional research on the following and provide the research findings to <br />the City Council: (1) regulations of shop windows such that the interior is not visible from <br />the street; and (2) regulations for minimum distance requirements from residential zoning <br />districts with the application of an equity lens. <br />Section 6.
