BAYSHORE – EXHIBIT B <br />REV: 05-12-23 JB <br />Page 13 of 22 <br />Mitigation Monitoring or Reporting Program <br />505 East Bayshore Road Project (SCH #2021080447) <br />Impacts Mitigation Timeframe for <br />Implementation <br />Responsibility <br />for <br />Implementation <br />Oversight of <br />Implementation <br />• Signs shall be placed on trash and recycling <br />receptacles reminding users to close the lids so that <br />they will not be inadvertently left open. <br />• Signs shall be placed informing residents and <br />visitors to not feed feral or wild mammals, including <br />feral cats, on the property. <br />• Educational signs shall be posted explaining the <br />importance and sensitivity of nearby marsh habitats, <br />prohibiting feeding wildlife (including feral cats) on <br />the property, and prohibiting outdoor cats and off- <br />leash dogs. In addition, signs will advise residents <br />and visitors to dispose of food waste in outdoor <br />areas appropriately to avoid attracting and <br />subsidizing nuisance species. <br /> <br />This measure will be incorporated into the covenants, <br />conditions & restrictions (CC&Rs) for the project and <br />enforced by the property’s homeowners association. The <br />homeowners association would provide an annual report <br />documenting the project’s compliance with this mitigation <br />measure to the Department of Community Development and <br />Transportation for approval.
